Addicted to retail!
As a student I only work part-time... This is a problem as approximately half of my monthly income is usually spent on some form of apparell, whether it be clothes, shoes or accessories.
When I see a dress, or top, or jacket that I like, I don't get a normal feeling of appreciation or admiration for the item, I feel a deep need to purchase purchase purchase!
I may already have something very similar OR the same but a different colour, however, that knowledge does not eradicate the immense compulsion to BUY BUY BUY! "That jacket would look gorgeous with my black skinny jeans and cream silk shirt!" says the small irrational shopping devil that lives inside my head. "NO Theresa! You cannot afford it and do not need it!" says the little realism angel that also lives there, but unfortunately my realism angels voice isn't quite as loud as the naughty shopping devil's and as I head towards the till the little devil sings happy songs, drowning out the angels objective cries...
